Catch Grill and Bar

Though Catch Grill and Bar is located inside the Marriott Hotel on Biscayne Bay, it is so much more than the dark ho-tel bar of our collective imaginations. Catch's decor mixes river rocks, shim-mering tiles, and wood to create the sen-sation of being under the sea. A huge outdoor seating area is a wonderful place to enjoy a wedding reception by the ocean or just a quiet breakfast by the bay. The restaurant overlooks a marina and relaxing vista of the ocean. Just steps from Adrienne Arsht Center for the Per-forming Arts, it's a good place for cock-tails and appetizers before or after a show. Valet parking is free, but Catch is also situated very close to the Metrorail. Appetizers include crunchy conch fritters with key lime aioli ($8) and shishito peppers with citrus-soy dipping sauce ($8). Entrées include a hearty seafood pasta with clams, mussels, shrimp, scal-lops, and tomato in a white wine broth ($28) and grilled chicken with lime sofrito ($23) served with yucca fries for those with no interest in the fruits of the sea. A lunch menu primarily consists of sandwiches and salads. An heirloom to-mato flatbread ($10) adds new flavors to the traditional Caprese. Round out your meal with a key lime pie ($9) and a fancy nightcap from the bar.
