This Saturday, two exhibits focusing on street culture open at Butter Gallery If your mug appears in the first show, The It Click, its because youve been face-hunted by a nocturnal photog who liked your street style.
If you find yourself a subject in the other exhibit, The Tenderloin Project, its because youve done so much smack that your teeth have fallen out and your family is no longer willing to lift you out of that sticky hole you call your life. San Francisco photographer Sean Desmond captures the street characters living in the Tenderloin district, one of the West Coasts seediest neighborhoods. At Butter, hell show 49 of his images and videos, as well as collaborative art pieces by artists Mike Giant, Apex, Greg Mike, Oliver Black, Hugh Leeman, and Mark Bode. Admission is free to the exhibits, which will be up until the end of August. The gallery opens for the Wynwood Second Saturday Art Walk at 7 p.m.
