If you like art, and you like Cuba, you'll love this exhibit. Jose Bedia, one of Cuba's most acclaimed artists of the '80s will have thirty years of his art work on display at this event. The art work that will be exhibited at Transcultural Pilgrim Three Decades of Work can be understood in the context of conversations on "post-national and post-essentialist" art. That, of course, goes with the themes of New Internationalism, cosmopolitanism, and globalization. Expect to see collaged historical photographs, black and white charcoal drawings and vibrant acrylic paintings. So expect a lot of visuals and a lot of "isms." Don't be shy and submerse yourself in the thoughts of an artistic genius.
