Loudon Wainwright III’s intimately personal repertoire can make audience members feel as if they’re eavesdropping. Songs about his family, the time he struck his daughter, and how difficult it is to correctly spell his name should work fine outdoors, though “Tip That Waitress” might be deleted from the setlist. That’s okay -- the man hardly lacks for material. He’ll play some songs from his latest, Here Come the Choppers, and the twenty long-players he has released since 1970. During a show this past summer, he whipped out a piece of paper -- “Here’s a song I wrote today.” His show launches the Redland Natural Arts Festival tonight at 8:00. The fest begins at 10:00 a.m. Saturday and Sunday, running to 5:00 both days, and features entertainment (a magician, the Dukesmen of Yale singers, Irish traditionalist James Kelly), arts and crafts, a petting zoo, and yummy food.
