Burger bashes are so five minutes ago. Burger brawls are where it’s at. After all, this is serious business: a ground beef battle to end all battles. Come Friday, storied food blogger Burger Beast will host the inaugural Burger Beast Burger Brawl at Magic City Casino (450 NW 37th Ave., Miami). It’s the ultimate way to celebrate National Hamburger Month, because a beef patty on a bun is arguably the best food invention ever. Attendees get to dig into samples from 20 joints, including Cheeseburger Baby, Josh’s Deli, Graziano’s, Pincho Factory, and Burger & Beer Joint. Once they’ve nommed their fill, they’ll cast a vote, and the winner will be named the first-ever Burger Brawl Champion. But beef ain’t all. There’ll be a Chunk’d Tot Bar courtesy of Sakaya Kitchen; sweets from Azucar Ice Cream Company, HipPOPs, and others; beer samples from Samuel Adams; other fun surprises; and all the burgers. All-inclusive tickets cost $50, and attendees must be 21 or older. The event runs from 7 to 10 p.m. Visit burgerbrawltix.com.
