As soon as the sun rises today, sit upright in your bed (or futon), swing your legs around and onto the floor, and get out of the house! Your first stop is Homestead Bayfront Park and Marina (9698 SW 328th St., Homestead) where from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. you can take a ride down memory lane at the second annual Classics at the Bay. There’ll be an enormous selection of classic cars on display, and your grandpop won’t be around to tell you to stop drooling on his Caddy. Admission is four dollars per car at the toll booth entrance. If you own an antique car that you want to put on display, call 786-344-4228.

After that roll to Margaret Pace Park (1745 N. Bayshore Dr., Miami). From 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. you can get some smart culture at the Pan African Art and Book Expo which will feature international speakers, poets, art, live music, and dance. Hungry yet? Head to Tropical Park (7900 Bird Rd., Miami) for some grub starting at 1:00 p.m. For $50 you can chow down on crawfish, corn, chicken and sausage gumbo, desserts, and beer at the LSU South Florida Alumni Chapter’s crawfish boil.
