Believe it or not, there once was a time when the Miami Dolphins ruled all the football-playing land. And there was no bitterer rival than those damn Buffalo Bills. It was a time when Dan Marino and Jim Kelly would smash the other’s defense with their awesomeness. It was back when our linebackers would shoot the bird at Bills fans, and the two teams would get into fisticuffs during games. It was enthralling, must-watch football.
But that was long ago, when the atmosphere at the games resembled a ferocious cockfight. Now there’s less “ferocious” and “fight.” But, hey, you never know. So why not head to Sun Life Stadium and try to relive past glories when the last-place Fins host the first-place Bills? It’ll be just like a Civil War re-enactment, except completely one-sided. Because the Dolphins are awful.
