Considering the number of times we've been mugged while out getting milk, it was a huge surprise to discover Miami has a real-deal superhero policing its streets. His name is the Avenging Avenger. "He's tired of the crime in the magic city of Miami, so he's decided to scour the building tops at night, fighting crime," explains Carlos Rivera, a veteran actor and director with Just the Funny Theater. "He's also looking for a sidekick-slash-girlfriend to help him do it."

Now, that's only one of the many sketchy characters we'll all want to keep a keen eye on at Just the Funny this Friday. The night will begin at 9 with the Big Show, featuring scripted comedy bits and interactive improv appropriate for the whole family. Then, at 11 p.m., the kid gloves will come off, the sex and politics will come out, and the funny will get dialed up to PG-13 for Late Night Improv. The Avenging Avenger might even drop his drawers. Watch out!
