Is fair really foul? And foul really fair? Find out when Miami's Mad Cat Theatre Company kicks off its 12th season with MacBeth and the Monster. The plot revolves around little MacBeth. All he wants is to fall asleep, but when his mother relates a bedtime story about a monster, the boy gets more than he bargained for. The punkish Mad Cat troupe is known for its freewheeling, in-your-face productions. Although this is an all-ages show, theater lovers should expect the unexpected and boundaries to be pushed.
Wednesday marks the East Coast premiere of MacBeth and the Monster, the work of playwright Angela Berliner, who specializes in all-ages theater, and director Paul Tei, who returns to Miami for what promises to be a fun-filled production to kick off Mad Cat's new year.
