Have you ever seen ten piano aficionados killing it at the same time? No? Well, of course you haven’t. That sort of thing doesn’t just happen. Miami Grands will tug at your heart, your soul, and your sense of reality with a “rhythmically powerful movement themed around well-known Miami areas/pastimes.” Those down-home inspirations include the Everglades, South Beach, Star Island, Coconut Grove, and even mojitos and stilettos.
The fire hits the keys Sunday with a special VIP opening reception at 5:30 p.m. and a general-admission reception at 6. Tickets cost $20 to $100. Call 305-899-3070 or visit barry.edu.
