What’s better than sharing a cold brewski with your friends on game day? How about sharing it with your family? During the University of Miami Hurricanes’ final home game of the season against the University of Virginia Cavaliers, UM will kick off its latest community appreciation event: Uniendo la Familia (Uniting the Family). In an effort to bring families together, there will be pregame activities appropriate for all ages, as well as an onsite concert by Mafio, hosted by popular radio personality DJ Laz. Throughout the game, families will have the opportunity to check out an Instagram booth, and there will also be photo ops with UM student-athletes, cheerleaders, and Sebastian the Ibis.
Show your support for the U and drag the whole family out to Sun Life Stadium (2269 NW 199th St., Miami Gardens) this Saturday. Kickoff time is noon. Special ticket packages include the $75 Green Package, which includes four upper-level tickets and one parking pass, and the $99 Orange Package, which features four field-level seats. Regardless of which package you choose, you will be able to attend the pregame party with DJ Laz.
