Face it: You’re addicted to wax, and Sweat Records (5505 NE Second Ave., Miami) is gearing up to give you one sweet fix. Come Black Friday weekend, while the rest of America clamors at the crack of dawn for deals on LED TV sets and PlayStations, you’ll be in line bright and early with other real music fans ready to dig through crates like a champion. If you’re serious about your beats, chances are good you’re a night owl. We suggest pulling an all-nighter so you can get in line before 8:30 a.m. this Friday. Early birds will get their first pick of a freebie from the master list of Black Friday releases (including Elvis Costello’s collab with the Roots, Flaming Lips, and others). If you get hungry, there will be plenty of vegan eggnog and cookies, so you can search happily for hours. And the fun doesn’t stop there. This weekend, Sweat will also observe Small Business Saturday from noon to 10 p.m. this Saturday, when the big sales continue while local DJs pump the jams. It’s a combination party/retail bonanza, and all you have to do is show up.
