It's go time, Miami. The official Art Basel exhibits at the convention center may not open to the public until tomorrow, but with so many other fairs, galleries, public projects and more competing for your attention today, we're calling it: Basel is back.

Which, of course, means an overload of options for your art-hungry eyeballs. We'll have more information on the best fairs and exhibits later today. In the meantime, throw on your clunky, ironic glasses, make some space on your phone for new photos, and don't forget your Art Basel Bingo card -- then head to these events.

American Exuberance: The Rubell Family Collection opens its doors today for a massive exhibit that's been in the works for two years, with nearly 200 pieces on display. Checking it out early puts you ahead of the curve.

Borscht Does Basel: The Borscht Film Festival brings a selection of short films from years past to O Cinema tonight, running continuously and open to the public. Enrich your mind and give your pavement-weary feet a break, all at once.

Mr. Brainwash Returns: Love him or hate him, he's back at the Boulan South Beach. And after last year's storm trooper stunts, we're guessing you're going to want to see it for yourself.

Screenings at SoundScape: The giant projection wall at the New World Symphony begins its Art Basel film series with a collection of shorts on the theme of "Landscape."

Bubbly on the Run: It may be a marketing ploy, but let's face it: a Veuve-Cliquot food truck is pretty damn cool. Catch it tonight at the Art Basel Outdoor Art Exhibit at NE 38th St. and 1st Ct.

Beached Basel Bash: Electric Pickle brings ANR, Plains, Little Beard and a handful of DJs to kick off the Art Basel party season in collaboration with Beached Miami.
