Last year, when Oprah introduced The Secret to her cadre of loyal followers, it wasn’t a car for you, a car for you, and a car for you, but she proved you don’t have to be a young African girl or a member of her studio audience for some of her fortune to rub off. The book that teaches the “Law of Attraction,” and ways we can apply it to improve our lives, earned two starring spots on O’s show and a followup on her Oprah & Friends radio show. But you’ll need to peel your cheeks off the couch to get tonight’s bounty.

Rev. Dr. Michael Beckwith, contributing author of the internationally best-selling book and DVD, will be the keynote speaker at the Universal Truth Center for Better Living’s 25th anniversary gala. Beckwith is one of the world’s most respected authorities on the principles of empowerment. This black-tie dinner and dance takes place from 7:00 p.m. to midnight at the Westin Diplomat Resort & Spa.
