This past weekend, Cultist and a few hundred crazy cat lovers descended upon the DoubleTree Convention Center by the Miami International Airport to take in the sights, sounds and luscious fur coats of more than 30 breeds of feline perfection. We're talking the best of the best flying in from all around the world to be touched, pet, and in our case, video taped.
Yes, be still your heart, because we've got the cutest compilation of kitties this side of r/aww. You're going to need to sit down for this.

We know what you're thinking. "Ermergerd, I need a kitty." Well, Anthony Hutcherson, who came all the way from Maryland to show his cats (including an adorably sweet 11-month old Bengal kitty named Iridescence) has some sage words of advice.
"It's finding the right cat for your lifestyle," he said. "If you're really active and you want a cat to interact and play with you, if you're tying your shoes to play with the shoe laces, a cat that when you get home from work is running around your ankles and is excited every time you throw a ball and you can teach it to fetch, Bengals, Abyssinian, breeds like that are super.

"But if you want a cat then when you come home from work and you're tired, you want a cat to just sit on your lap and purr and brush it's fur; Ragdolls, Burmese, and Persians. And if you want a big cat that's going to make you look macho or you just want a big animal; Maine Coons. So it's just figuring out what you really want, what works best for you, what you have time for, and finding a breed like that."
And what if you have no idea what you want?
"Consider all the options, and if you're not sure," Hutcherson said. "Consider going to an animal shelter or humane society and fostering a cat for a while. First of all, you might fall in love with it, and finding out what you expect from a cat in your life, then finding the cat that has the same needs as you."
