Forget the umbrella and grab a chainsaw: We're getting closer to the dream. SyFy announced this week that Sharknado 3, the third installment to the ridiculous fish gore flick, will hit our TVs in 2015 -- and this time, it's set closer to our South Florida shores.

"Starting in Washington, D.C., and moving down to Orlando, FL -- no seaboard city below our nation's capital is safe!" Syfy says on its website. It ain't Miami, but we'll take it.

We've griped in the past about the films not being set in Miami, and rightly so: Our over-the-top town suites this film series just right. Plus, we get drowned in terrifying rains containing God knows what on the reg. We could totally handle a shark storm.

The third Sharknado got its order from Syfy two months before Sharknado 2, The Second One even premiered. The sequel was set in New York City and brought in 3.9 million viewers, breaking the record for any Syfy original film.

There's no confirmed cast or formal premiere date for Sharknado 3 but it will surely bring back the wonders of Ian Ziering and Tara Reid. Sharknado 2 featured stars like Vivica A. Foxx, Mark McGrath, and Judd Hirsch, plus some cameos by Downtown Julie Brown, Matt Lauer, and Al Roker.

Here's hoping SyFy sweeps up some Florida eccentrics for extras and tosses some lizards in the tornado mix.
