When you think of cone bras, borderlines, and virginity, it's only natural to think of Madonna, right? Didn't she create all of that or something?

With her lace fingerless gloves, Madonna was at the forefront of '80s fashion. She was probably the first to wear chains, and taffeta and tulle with leather, but we couldn't really foresee how her style would lead to preteens dressing in fishnets. Maybe we're just prudes.

But the aging, enterprising pop star is launching a fashion line for teens, with the help of daughter Lola and a celebutante named Taylor Momsen. You know, 'cause we are living in a material world.

Luckily the line, aptly named "Material Girl,"

isn't as sexy and grungy as we'd imagined. The Material Girl has

enlisted the help of her 13-year-old daughter, Lola (who blogs about the collection here), to create an

all-encompassing clothing line fit for a teen. We're talkin' tops,

bottoms, shoes, handbags, jewelry, and nothing over $40 for...

Macy's? While we're stretching here, actress-turned-musician Taylor Momsen (Gossip Girl) is

the line's spokesperson, adding her own personal style while she strikes

a pose.

The line launches today in stores and online, but if you're particularly fond of free stuff, head to Macy's in Dadeland

today before 10 a.m. The first 200 customers on the "pink"

carpet near the Juniors department will score a free bandeau top from

the collection, Macy's gift cards up to $500, and a chance to win an

autographed Material Girl tee signed by the original Material Girl.

All

of that free fun ends at noon, but starts again at 3 p.m. when customers

are invited to an afternoon "dance party" featuring -- duh-- Madonna's

greatest hits, more giveaways, and some free food.
