Dennis Miller is the second-most entertaining, freedom-loving, semi-intellectual, autodidactic, libertarian funnyman in the nation. (The first is Penn Jillette.) You know the resumé, more or less: Saturday Night Live, the HBO shows, the radio programs, the rants, the guest appearances on Fox News where he plays gleefully to the resentments of that network's audience without mentioning his support of gay marriage and abortion rights. Thursday at 8 p.m. at the Kravis Center, he'll tell it like it is — or at least tell it like he thinks the paying public thinks it oughta be. It's a tough kind of contortion, and nobody does it better.
