Few things are more romantic than dinner under the stars. For a truly exclusive and memorable dining experience, take your sweetie out for Dinner in Paradise. Gabriele Marewski of Paradise Farms and Michael Schwartz, executive chef of Afterglo, created this monthly series of fabulous dinners, which are held for 50 people on a five-acre plot in Homestead. The concept is to expose local gourmands to the few organic farms in Miami and also help organic farmers in post Hurricane Katrina Louisiana and Mississippi. People forget, but those farmers are still struggling. We might not change their lives, but were helping, says Schwartz. The dinners are served in the farms packing house. Its open air, and the last time, as we were eating dinner, the full moon was coming up. It was just beautiful, Marewski sighs. Tonights feast will be prepared by chefs Giancarla Bodoni of Escopazzo and Maria Frumkin of Duo. Come to Paradise Farms. Dinner costs $150 and begins with a winetasting at 5:00 p.m. For more information, call 305-205-8839. To make a dinner reservation, visit www.foginfo.org.
