Miami is once again the scene for an hour-long pilot by Numbers creators Niolas Falacci and Cheryl Heuton. The show, which is currently in pre-production and under the working title of Untitled Falacci/Heuton Pilot, was snatched up by USA Network. But it's not just set in Miami; Miami Today reports the show will also film in South Florida. With Miami-based Burn Notice already under its belt, we're guessing USA can't get enough of the 305 as the backdrop for a good drama.

The show is based on a short story from the anthology When The Women Come Out To Dance, by Elmore Leonard, who's been praised by The New York Times Book Review as "the greatest crime writer of our time, perhaps ever." We also know that the book features the short story Fire in The Hole, on which the FX series Justified is based.

Slated to star in the series are Florida native Stephen Root, who you may have seen in Boardwalk Empire, The Good Wife, Justified, etc.; Bryan Greenburg, who we loved in HBO's How to Make It in America, then sadly disappeared out of our lives once it was canceled; Amanda Schull, the home wrecker from Pretty Little Liars; and Mexican model/actress newcomer Stephanie Sigman.

The storyline for the show centers on Billy (Greenburg), a Miami businessman who marries Lourdes Nieves, an influential Colombian woman (Sigman) in effort to increase his chances of being elected to political office. Like all marriages contracted out of convenience rather than real love, the dirty laundry starts piling up. Billy's new wife proves to be more resourceful at "fixing" any problem Miami's corrupt political scene throws in Billy's way. Root will play Avery Boomer, a savvy political power broker, Miami campaign manager, and family friend who helps Billy in his political aspirations--he's also the father of the beautiful and sexy Melody (Schull), who also happens to be Billy's ex.

So racy. So scandalous. We already love it.
