Things like the virtual bookshelf for the iPad and the million of other eBooks out there exist for a reason--people still love to read. Sure, there are greats like Ernest Hemingway, Truman Capote, and Emily Dickinson, but who needs them? It's 2011 and people like Chelsea Handler, Ricky Martin, and Snooki are what get our little literary hearts going.

And now we can add another sure to be award-winning entry, The Lo Down, written by The Hills' Lauren "Lo" Bosworth, to the list of modern day classics. You might be thinking, who? You know her: the

skinny little sidekick to Lauren Conrad.  If you do know who she is and

maybe even enjoy her as a person, you're in luck. She will be signing

books at the Bal Harbour Books & Books tonight at

7 PM.

From what her publishers tell us, Lo "offers her advice gleaned from her and her famous friends' relationship experiences on dating and love." Well, doesn't that sound like a freaking doozy.  One thing you reality lovers will be glad to hear is that it features personal photos and anecdotes about her experiences on Laguna Beach and The Hills, which for someone who loves reality TV,  sounds pretty exciting. For the rest, it's pretty sad.

While we don't know what is in the book and probably never will find out, here are five things we hope are inside:

5. Lo's Thoughts on Speidi
If you know anything about Lo Bosworth, you know that she's stayed pretty politically correct when it comes to her thoughts of Spencer Pratt and Heidi Montag. Wouldn't you just love if the first sentence of the book is, "Speidi--what a filthy hot ass mess."

4. The Explanation of Audrina's Eyes
Why are they always looking at the ceiling? That is all we want to know. Also, how great is her mom?

3. Her Real Feelings on Lauren Conrad
For those of you who don't know, these broads have been together for quite some time. They started their TV career together back in the Laguna Beach days and were reconnected on a few seasons of The Hills, before Lauren left the show for greener pastures. Lauren has a pretty solid career, New York Times Bestseller & clothing designer, but Lo... not so much. Don't you wonder if she is just wicked jealous?

2. Speaking of Lauren Conrad
I bet Lo is a really good surfer. Because if she can ride a wave as good as she can ride Lauren Conrad's coattails, well, she is good to go.

1. How Much Do You Hate Kristen Cavallari?
She had to spend two seasons with that dreadful girl. Listen to Kristen speak for five minutes and you will forever be impressed by Lo. If she can film with Kristen for eight hours a day, she can do anything. We mean anything.

Lauren "Lo" Bosworth will be at Books and Books (9700 Collins Ave., Bal Harbour) tonight at 7 p.m. For more information call 305-864-4241 or visit booksandbooks.com.
