Face it: You will not see everything during Art Basel. Five days to experience 15-plus art fairs? Not to mention the all-night parties and general people-watching? But a few of the satellite fairs open a day early, so you can eke out more art gawking and beat the badge-wielding crowds.
Scope Miami also cracks open its white tent this Wednesday. Last year, Polish artist Olek stole the show with a yarn-bombed convertible parked outside and a completely knitted room displayed inside the fair. Find out if an artist can top that feat at NE First Avenue and 30th Street when Scope opens at 11 a.m. Admission costs $20. Visit scope-art.com.
