When it comes to fashion in Miami, we've seen it all: barely-there bottoms on round booties, strappy bandage dresses that perfectly accentuate new boob jobs, and heels so high you'd have to call an ambulance if you tripped while wearing them. And though there are plenty of fashion blogs filling our vernacular with the latest trends, we're most excited about these five Miami women. They push the envelope with an elevated street style that would make even the poshest New Yorker gasp with delight.

They aren't playing around when it comes to shunning the SoBe fashion stereotype, instead opting for long lines and dramatic silhouettes over bikinis and Forever 21. Whether styling on set, working it on the red carpet, or kicking ass as CEOs, these ladies are documenting their musings on Instagram and giving their followers plenty of ideas for enhancing style with sophistication. They may not be the most popular with tens of thousands of followers, but they're the ones getting it right. Follow these five Miami fashion plates for a daily dose of style inspiration perfectly coiffed for the Magic City.
5. @iman_hasan
When you're managing a fashion PR company and jet-setting from Miami to New York more often than seems physically possible, you need a wardrobe to match — something that's as polished as you yet lets you move with the fierceness of an untamed tiger. Iman Hasan has that look down, pairing flirty florals with crop tops while acing a street-style vibe when frequenting colder climes. Her secret? "A mix of luxury and contemporary brands," she says, pointing to a slew of exciting designers she has in her repertoire at RAC, a full-service branding, PR, and creative agency for fashion darlings she runs with partner Regina Arriola Cauff.
4. @_simonett
By now you should know about Simonett Pereira. She was, after all, one of New Times' 2015 People of Miami and is founder and creative director of Style Mafia, one of Miami's most innovative fashion brands bringing high-end style to the everyday woman. Simonett shows her followers you don't need a ton of money to look like a million bucks — all you need is the good sense to frequent her Wynwood shop. There, her keen eye toward minimalistic cool will transform even the most chonga-centric wardrobe.
3. @angelesalmuna
Angeles Almuna's style reaches new heights – literally. Often decked out in over-the-top whimsy, such as a giant statement floral pin made of chiffon, Angeles has a flair for the dramatic. "I'm somewhere in between classic and avant-garde," she says, noting that her favorites designers, such as Delpozo and Dries Van Noten, are also inspired by visual art. And she's always tough — fighting breast cancer while keeping blogging on AngelesAlmuna.com and styling for Brickell Magazine. Angeles doesn't let her sickness stop her. "I'll never stop trying to look my best."
2. @ojandcigs
Jana Rose Carrero likes to bring the edge to the Magic City by often pairing urban sportswear with dramatic lipstick and her signature platinum-blond hair. "My style is very eclectic, because it depends on my mood," she says. And right now this Miami fashion blogger seems to be having a moment with groovy florals and free-flowing skirts. "I'm definitely inspired by certain periods of time, ranging from the '60s to the '80s," she says. Followers of Jana's OJ & Cigs get plenty of multifarious style inspiration from this chameleon's unusual chic.
1. @nycole_sariol
A stylist by trade, Nycole Sariol spends her days styling for MC2 Model Management, often teaming up with her friend Simonett to create Style Mafia's coveted looks. Nycole's brand of '70s-inspired L.A. cool comes in handy whether she's styling in California or Miami. And for herself? She tends to choose wide-brimmed hats, vintage round glasses, and a classic pair of Stan Smiths.
