Ever since your glory days were over and done with, you've regretted your lack of high school hero status. We know, we know, if you could go back in time, you'd totally take state in baseball. Uncle Rico, eat your heart out.
Luckily, if you've been honing those pitching skills via your local WAKA league, that arm might finally come in handy for more than a free beer at the Sandbar. Disney is giving away a million bucks to one lucky amateur pitcher extraordinaire. Yes, a million.

The contest honors the opening of Disney's Million Dollar Arm, a true story about two young Indian dudes who go from never throwing a baseball to scoring a Major League tryout, all with the help of sports agent JB Bernstein (Jon Hamm).
Amateur (AKA no pros or former pros) baseball pitchers (gals or guys) 18 and over (U.S. citizens only) are called on to compete in the preliminary rounds at Walt Disney World's ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex in Orlando on Saturday, April 26, from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. Strong-armed hopefuls will throw three pitches, each tracked via radar gun.
Simultaneous tryouts will be held in Cali and NYC, too. Three contestants from each location who throw with serious speed will advance to the finals. The good news: even if you fail miserably, you'll still score tickets for yourself and a guest to check out an advance screening of the flick later that night.
The final round will go down at the movie's world premiere on Tuesday, May 6, on LA's Hollywood Boulevard, where the three last men (or women) standing will throw three pitches. Any eligible finalist who throws one 100 mph strike (out of three pitches) is eligible to win the $1 million grand prize.
Oh, and the nine finalists and guests will be VIPs at the film premiere along with lots of stars, Hamming it up.
So wind it up and let it loose. A million bucks is riding on those high school sports skills.
