Saturday nights at Nikki Beach typically run parallel with thoughts of scantily clad and drunk tourists. These are the evenings when you learn how to say "cheers" in five different languages.

This Saturday, however, Nikki's throwing a designer showcase fashion event -- all in the name of charity. What Women Want, Nikki Beach's signature fashion and beauty series, invites the public to a complimentary showcase (that's right folks, it's open to the public and complimentary!) from 7p.m. to 10p.m.

If it hasn't caught your attention thus far, celebrity stylist Gerard Vallecello will be directing the show and he's featuring 2012 Spring collections of Oscar de la Renta, Michael de Paulo, Versace (how does Kayne pronounce it? Ver-say-see?) and a few others.

Vallecello is expected to offer complimentary styling and trending tips for the new year at the event as well.

After a good show, and the chance to meet designer Michael de Paulo, the party will move to the second floor at Pearl Restaurant and Champagne Lounge. Latin Grammy nominee, Thalia, will be there and while she won't be performing, we're told she'll be there taking part in the festivities.

In order to keep things are charitable as possible, Nikki Beach has partnered with the Make-A-Wish Foundation of Southern Florida and a gift basket raffle will give guests the chance to win a basket of goodies while all proceeds benefit Make-A-Wish.

Seats will fill up fast, given it's a complimentary and public event. RSVP here nikkibeachmiami.com/whatwomenwant.
