Britto's Wynwood Compound Now Covered in Graffiti, Possibly Even Makes Britto Cool Again

You can say what you will about Britto. His cutesy pop art was an extremely lame representation of Miami as the graphic wrap on Dolphins Stadium for Superbowl 2010, but the guy knows how to make money, and he's never abandoned the 305 as his HQ.

The recent vandalism of his longtime Wynwood compound by the paint-charged fire extinguisher defacement of C-Dog may have been funny to some, but it also spurred an immediate remuralization. We don't know if Britto himself did any of the work; it was probably his army of minions. (Hey, the guy creates lots of jobs in the arts.) But the brightly colored, graffiti-inspired freeform spraycan work that now covers the outside of his space bears the signature of Britto himself -- and it's actually pretty cool.
