We always enjoy a little friendly East Coast/West Coast competition — Kobe Bryant versus Dwyane Wade, In-N-Out versus Five Guys, Hollywood Boulevard versus Ocean Drive — but nothing makes us prouder than when we lure a Left Coaster to the Magic City. La La Land-based DJ StoneRokk, AKA the Freshmaker, will assume temporary residence at SET this Thursday, where he'll spin the eclectic beats that have made him a household name among celebs such as Rihanna, George Clooney, and Kid Rock. The mix master, who sometimes spins with Graham Funke in the duo Captains of Industry, has made his mark (or scratch) in the DJ world by pushing boundaries behind the decks.
