If you're an amateur artist but long for the limelight, Art Takes Miami is right up your alley. This international art contest could be your ticket to the glitz, glamour, and undeniable weirdness that is Art Basel week in Miami.

Amateurs and pros alike are invited to submit anything in the way of art, fashion or photography for the chance at $10,000 and a spot at SCOPE Art Fair. Find out how you can enter after the jump.

The campaign is a partnership between See.Me and SCOPE, and it's been going strong for four years, bringing undiscovered talent to Miami Art Week.

Basically, anything goes. And the winners will be considered for a $10,000 cash grant and exhibition at SCOPE Art Show during Art Basel -- plus, they'll score a stay at the Delano. Contest judges include SCOPE fair founders and other art world notables, including the editor-in-chief of Juxtapoz magazine.

To enter, artists have to set up an online profile with See.Me, co-sponsors of the contest. If you're already a member, it's free. If not, it's $50. There's also a People's Choice Awards, which entrants can score by rallying friends and family for "supports," aka profile fans.

"Miami Art Week brings in a tremendous amount of creative work from all over the world, so we encourage entrants to crank up the creativity and wow the judges with something they haven't seen before," says See.Me Marketing Coordinator Carly Martin. "Putting your best work forward, curating your See.Me profile in a way that tells the story of your work, and writing a solid artist statement or biography on your profile are great ways to help you stand out to the judges."

The standard deadline is Halloween night at 11:59 p.m., but if you're cool with the possibility of paying a late fee to enter, you can wait until the final deadline, November 9 at the same time. The winners will be announced later in November.

SCOPE is partnered with Vh1 this year, and they'll have a massive 70,000-square-foot pavilion set up on the sands of South Beach -- an impressive backdrop for any artist's handiwork.

"By signing up for Art Takes Miami you're also joining a supportive, creative community with lots of other feature and exhibition opportunities," Martin adds. "Everyone has a fair shot at winning. The judges don't look at your exhibition history, where you went to school, where you live; we let your work speak for itself."
