Soon, the Miami Art Museum (MAM) as we know it will no longer exist. The downtown mainstay that has stood as a cultural hub in the shadow of Government Center will move to its new home in Museum Park and be rechristened as Pérez Art Museum Miami in its new Herzog & de Meuron-designed building overlooking Biscayne Bay.
