As Jim Morrison noted, Film spectators are quiet vampires. But this Thursday at O Cinema, expect more than just stone-faced voyeurs lurking in the theaters shadows. At Cinema Sounds # 8, presented by Roofless Rex and Borscht Film Festival, live bands will suck the boring out of the room when they soundtrack cult-classic films with their custom scores. For the eighth installment, the bill includes the 80s-style party thrashers of Acidosis, soundscape outfit Viking Funeral, powerviolence band Gorilla Pussy, and the no-wave pop sounds of Meat.
