Chilean rock group La Ley is retiring. Miami will be the final stop in the last U.S. tour the band is offering under its name -- at least for the next three years, that is, the time frame its members have reportedly dedicated to personal projects (particularly singer Beto Cuevas, who plans to release a solo album in the near future). Accordingly with the band's Grammy-winning status and its mass appeal throughout Latin America, the Historias 2005 tour will move on from here to most of that continent, with a long and final string of shows scheduled for Mexico, the nation that opened its arms to the South American pop-rock bandmates who moved from Santiago de Chile to Mexico D.F. looking for a brighter future more than a decade ago.
