In a perfect world, big, ugly chain restaurants wouldn’t be raking in money hand over fist. In a perfect world, the American diet wouldn’t regularly include heaping portions of deep-fried bullshit counterbalanced by so-called healthful salads drenched in dressing that’s the caloric equivalent of a Snickers milkshake. In a perfect world, all of our food would be prepared so as to maintain the maximum nutritional value, would be made from the finest locally produced natural ingredients, and would taste better and be more satisfying than even the most decadently delicious three-patty grease ball.
