Last month, Hurricanes coach Al Golden took a bit of Internet heat for posting a quote from former Canes star Michael Irvin all over the team's facilities. After all, the guy's past off-the-field trouble makes Brandon Marshall look like a Boy Scout. However, Golden seems enamored with the team's legacy, checkered parts and all, and invited Irvin himself into the locker-room to deliver a scary-voiced, cursing pep talk of sorts before their spring game. Watch the video below.
Irvin showed up in full orange and green regalia, and reminded the baby Canes that he has won a football championship on every level before contorting his voice into some sort of unholy timbre and screaming about hard work. Irvin also reminds the team of the huge legacy they must live up to.
