A UPS driver today lost control of his truck, which hit a tree and then ended up plunging into Biscayne Bay. The demolished vehicle now sits submerged in water.

According to the Miami Herald, the truck struck a tree near the intersection of NE 12th Avenue and 96th Street while traveling southbound through Miami Shores. The truck then broke through a concrete pedestrian barricade before landing about 100 feet from shore in Biscayne Bay. The driver was not injured.
