Speculation over who killed and dismembered a crocodile on University of Miami's Coral Gables campus is still rampant. Some outsiders immediately theorized that it was part of a sick prank meant to send a message to one of the school's athletic rivals, the UF Gators. But gossip on campus suggests the crime was the work of FSU students who came down for Saturday's football game between the two schools.

The investigation has turned up no suspects yet, but they've ruled out that the killing was related to Santeria.
