Terry Bradshaw Says Reggie Bush Was Running Like He Was "Chasing That Bucket of Chicken"
Did you see Reggie Bush's amazing, zig-zaggy touch down run in the second quarter on Sunday against the Indianapolis Colts? Well, Fox analyst Terry Bradshaw did, and in a poor choice of words, described Bush as running like "he was chasing that bucket of chicken." Whoops.
Of course, if you're new to America or something, we might need to explain that stereotyping African-Americans as loving buckets of fried chicken is generally considered racially insensitive.
Bradshaw also added, "that the wind was blowing the other day," and originally addressed the comment to Jimmy Johnson. So it sounds like it might have been an inside joke, but Bradshaw's African-American co-hosts don't exactly seem pleased.
An audible, "Oh boy," the kind that carries the tone of "Did he really just say that?" can be heard. Curt Menefee's body language definitely doesn't seem pleased after the cameras cut back to the NFL on Fox studios either.
