Rapper Birdman's Investment Plan: A $2 Million Bet on the Heat
In these still shady economic times, placing a bet on the Miami Heat seemed as sound an investment plan as any. At least, that's probably what rapper and Cash Money Records co-founder Birdman thought. He announced on Twitter that he made a $2 million bet on the Miami Heat in the NBA Finals. Suffice it to say, he was probably left reeling a little bit more after last night's shocking loss than most of us.

If you can't quite decipher it, we believe that the Tweet first boasts of the source of his wealth: YMCMBu$iness (the Young Money, and Cash Money record labels). He then claims he made a $2 million bet on the Heat, and plans to buy a new car if the Heat win.
Birdman may not be the most successful rapper in his own right, but through the record labels Forbes believes he's amassed a fortune of about $100 million dollars. Surely, hit records by the likes of Young Money artists like Nicki Minaj, Drake and Lil' Wayne have his wallet feeling extra fat.
This isn't exactly out of the ordinary for Birdman either. He claims he won $1 million on a bet he made on the Packers in the last Super Bowl.
