Florida has one of the worst unemployment rates in the nation at a staggering 11.1 percent, but a recent deal struck by Rick Scott and Republicans in the legislature will slash unemployment benefits for those millions of out-of-work Floridians. The bill, which will likely be signed by Scott, would cut the time the unemployed would be eligible for benefits from 26 weeks to 23. Maddow also slams the state for drug testing welfare recipients, as well as FSU's shady deal with a Tea Party-backing billionaire.
