Paul Kangas has hosted Nightly Business Report on WPBT since the show debuted as a local on program in 1979. Since then, the program has grown into the nation's most watched business news broadcast, and is broadcast on PBS stations all around the country. All the while Kangas has been anchored his portion of the show from Miami.

According to The New York TimesWPBT will announce his retirement tomorrow after thirty years of service. The decision was entirely his.

Susie Gharib, his New York based co-anchor, will remain with the show. Producers have already started searching for a replacement. Though, we suppose that's no guarantee the second anchors chair will remain in Miami.

Paul, we're wishing you the best of good buys!
