While Gustav missed us completely, the storm made for one gloomy Labor Day weekend. But despite the lack of sun, there was plenty to do over the long weekend.

My Morning Jacket at the Fillmore

Justin Namon

Local musicians/badasses Otto Von Schirach and Jose El Rey had a little party dubbed Club Jupiña Colada at the Downtown dive bar/club PS14. Click here to view the full slideshow.

Sheila Witkin Memorial Reunion Concert at Club Cinema

Click here for our review of the event. Bonus video of Depp rocking out above.

Roger Sanchez at Mansion

Ivon David Rojas

New York house DJ Roger Sanchez stopped by Mansion in South Beach. Recently, the Opium Group, Mansion's parent company, has been booking some pretty amazing acts. Now if they only could reduce the South Beach douchebag factor. Click here to view the full slideshow.

Sunday Night at Bella Rose, Buck 15 and Laundry Bar

Justin Namon
