Miami is definitely a city of lust and passion, but romance? We're not entirely sold. We mean, is stumbling out of a club at 4 a.m. and making out with someone whose name you barely know in the sands behind a lifeguard stand romantic?

Yet, Miami has been ranked America's third most romantic travel destination. The fact that the ranking comes from a "dating" site that looks to connect wealthy men with young beautiful women looking for a free trip only makes sense. Yes, that certainly seems more along the Miami ideals of romance.

"Who needs money, beautiful people travel for free!" proclaims the homepage of MissTravel.com. The site looks to connect its "generous" users with its "attractive" users for travel. It launched back in April and already has more than 100,000 users. The site also proclaims, "Note: MissTravel.com is strictly an online dating website. Escorts are not welcome." Mmmm hmmmm.

According to Ye Olde Huffington Post, the site's users chose Miami as America's third most romantic city. The Magic City only trails behind NYC at #2 and Las Vegas at #1. Orlando and Tampa also made the top 20, because there's nothing more romantic than Space Mountain, and, uh, whatever the hell it is that goes on up in Tampa (AKA strip club capitol of the world).

So is that how we're supposed to find love in this hopeless place? Is that how romance in Miami works? We're supposed to buy someone airplane tickets? Either that, or be super attractive? Great.
