Who do you turn to when you've lost your way?
Jesus. Because Jesus Shuttlesworth saves. It was Sunday after all.
Ray Allen, AKA "Jesus Shuttlesworth," held a come to Jesus meeting Sunday afternoon, scoring 14 of his Miami Heat career high 25 points in the decisive fourth quarter of the Miami Heat's much needed 113-104 comeback win over the Houston Rockets.
The Heat entered the fourth quarter trailing by two, then trailed 97-92 after a James Harden dagger three midway through the fourth. It looked very much as if your beloved Heat were in danger of losing for the fifth time in six games.
Then Jesus reminded you, no worries, he's got you. Because he's your homeboy. #Blessed.
Allen played all 12 minutes of the fourth quarter, scoring 14 points on 4/6 shooting, helping the Heat finish the game on a 21-7 run that put an end to all that panic-button-whats-wrong-with-the-Heat talk.
The Heat laid that good champion "winning time" swagger on the Rockets in the final period, outscoring them 34-23.
Ray Allen passed Allen Iverson on the all-time points scored list in Sunday's game, now sitting at 24,370 points in 1,287 games played.
Thaaaaank you Jeeeeeeeesus! Praise him, Internet.
