Fidel Castro hasn't been retired for even a week. Still, he just couldn't hold off on publishing an anti-US missive. The latest, he claims: President Bush wants to annex Cuba.
''I had planned to stop writing these reflections for at least 10 days,'' Castro wrote. ``But I didn't have the right to keep quiet so long. We have to open ideological fire against them.''
Blah, blah, blah. The good news: his column's logo shows him in a swanky business suit, not those military fatigues of the past.
Can't the man act like a normal retiree and play golf, go to the Early Bird Buffet Special or play shuffleboard already?
