Former Pro-Wrestler "nWo Sting" Now Manages Research Program at University of Miami School of Medicine
Back in the '90s, Jeff Farmer was a regular in the pro-wrestling world portraying the evil-minded impostor of popular superstar Sting. Yes, wrestling really is like soap operas for men, and this was basically an evil-twin storyline. His gimmick was basically that he tricked fans and fellow wrestlers into thinking he was the real Sting by wearing his signature face paint and committing heel-worthy acts. The real Sting eventually resurfaced, but Farmer continued on as "nWo Sting," "Fake Sting" or, uh, "Stink." Now a days he's managing a research project at the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine.
Here's one of many time when real Sting came in contact with nWo Sting. Hulk Hogan is involved in this one somehow.
Farmer also had big success in Japan with his fake Sting gimmick, and also previously wrestled under the names "Cobra" and "Thunder" in the now-defunct WCW.
So, what do wrestler who never quite make enough money to retire with do after their days in the ring? Well, apparently Farmer has turned to the research world. He's managing a study at the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine known as "Genetics, Exercise, and Research" or GEAR. The program aims to identify "people's genetic background influences their response to physical activity."

Farmer's title is "program manger," while Dr. Evadnie Rampersaud, Ph.D. and
Dr. Pascal J. Goldschmidt, M.D. carry out the research.
By the way, GEAR relies on volunteers to participate for free exercise training and is apparently looking for participants.
Update: Farmer left a comment saying that the "fake Sting" in the video above is not actually him. Meaning that WCW employed a fake "fake Sting." Double fake Sting! We're pretty sure this video of fake Sting attack long-time Sting-alley Lex Luger is actually Farmer.
