FIU Football Coach Apologizes for Players' Public Beach Nudity
Earlier this morning, FIU football players went to Crandon Park Beach, perhaps Miami's most family friendly stretch of sand, for a workout and team barbecue. Apparently while showering under the public open-air shower heads, a few of the players decided to get butt naked.
FIU head coach Ron Turner has now issued a very bizarre pubic apology.
Come on guys, we all know public beach nudity is restricted to a small stretch of Haulover Park beach. The family beach is decidedly not the locker room.
Don't worry though, AP reporter Tim Reynolds says the players won't face charges.
Miami Dade PD says no charges filed after claims that FIU football players fully disrobed and used outdoor showers at a public beach today.
