Dwyane Wade didn't seem to mind when he gave up his title of the Heat's best player to LeBron James, but apparently he does get touchy when people claim LeBron has better off-the-court style than he does. GQ recently named LeBron James as the most stylish athlete of 2013, and the always dapperly dressed Wade was none too pleased.
Wade on LeBron No 1 by GQ: "He's No. 1 in a lot of areas in life, but that ain't it. Congratulations to him and whoever he paid to get that"

Dwyane meanwhile sits all the way down at number nine, a few spots behind men's Uggs model Tom Brady (*shudder*).
It wasn't that long ago when Wade was being named the best dressed player in the league by the media and by his colleagues, but style is an opinion. But his style stock has been slipping. Vanity Fair named him the seventh best dressed NBA player, while teammate Chris Bosh beat him at number three. LeBron meanwhile wasn't even on that list. Style is subjective after all.
Of course, we can all take pride in the fact that the Heat were the only team in all of sports to have more than one player on the list.
