This just in: the Associated Press is reporting that the jury is deadlocked in the second trial of six Miami men accused of plotting to destroy the Sears Tower in Chicago.
Not a big surprise. The first jury in the so called "Liberty City Seven" case also deadlocked -- and acquitted one man.
The judge in the latest trial has ordered the jury to deliberate some more -- even though they've been pondering the pointless case for 10 days. While they deliberate, you can read a New Times story about why the case against the alleged "terrorists" is flawed.
