In 1988 Barry Kulick sold his guitar-making business and turned his hobby -- underwater photography -- into a career. Since then his images of marine life have appeared in many media the world over. He has traveled the watery globe in pursuit of everything from the pygmy sea horse to great white sharks, but some of his favorite haunts remain the reefs and wrecks off South Florida. He lives in Miami with his wife Miriam and son Alexander.
