Adam Lambert Accused of Battery on Miami Beach
Breaking news! For the first time since coming in second on American Idol, singer Adam Lambert was spotted in an outfit that didn't look like it fell off the tractor trailer that carries Lady Gaga's wardrobe around. Oh, and also he stands accused of violently assaulting a paparazzo on Miami Beach yesterday.
The police report obtained by TMZ says that that the cameraman was standing 20 feet away from Lambert on Miami Beach and began taking pictures. When Lambert noticed he "started running towards him in an aggressive manner." Lambert then allegedly grabbed the man's backpack and wrestled him to the ground. Once Lambert realized a crowd had formed he ran away.
The man showed up at a Miami Beach Police Department and filed the assault charges, but did not have any bruises.
TMZ has a picture of the attack in which it appears Lambert is jumping on the man's back. You'll also notice that Lambert, for once, is not wearing face glitter or something with 5-inch leather spikes attached. Instead he's in a tank top, board shorts, straw hat and flip flops, bro.

Lambert later tweeted, "I lost my temper for a sec but wow it felt great lol MIAMI!!!" Of course, he could face a year in jail and a $1,000 fine if police pursue the charges.
Though now Lambert has tweeted, "Battery? Nope. I attempted to grab a camera, no punches were thrown and no one was on the ground.... It was literally harmless. If embarrassment is a crime- thats all I'm guilty of."
