Yes, it was a total bummer this past May when U2 was forced to postpone its local Miami show at Sun Life Stadium, originally scheduled for July 9. Can't blame them, though: Frontman Bono underwent emergency back surgery this past May, with a required eight-week recovery period. It wasn't just Miami that lost out, though -- the entire U2 360 Tour set for North America 2010 was, after all, entirely canned. (The scheduled European run of dates will still begin, as planned, in Turin, Italy this August 6.)

The band has made good its word though that the shows were only postponed, not cancelled outright, and earlier today released a rescheduled full run of dates. The bad news for fans: They're gonna have to wait a while. The good news: At least in South Florida, the show is still happening at the originally scheduled venue, Sun Life Stadium.
The new date is June 29, 2011. Tickets purchased for the original July 2010 date will be honored at the door. Otherwise, additional U2 Miami concert tickets will go on sale through Ticketmaster. They're not available yet, but bookmark that link or check Crossfade again for further sale details when they become available.
